Mizushima is a small island located near the Tsuruga Peninsula. The area’s sea water is extremely clear and beautiful and it attracts many visitors every year. Wakasa-Wada beach is designated as one of the Best 88 Bathing Areas in Japan. It is also one of the best bathing beaches on the Japan Sea coast.
