Mihama Town, Fukui Prefecture, has focused on rowing since hosting the Fukui National Sports Festival in 1968, establishing itself as "Mihama, the Town of
Boats." This tournament is held to share the joy of rowing, deepen community bonds among residents, and provide opportunities to enjoy the lake.
