Fukui Prefecture offers subsidies to domestic and international travel agencies that organize tours from overseas travelers to Fukui using charter buses.

Eligible Period:

April 1, 2025 – March 17, 2026 (departure date)

Subsidy Amount:

April 1 – November 30, 2025 / February 15 – March 17, 2026

　¥25,000 per bus per night

December 1, 2025 – February 14, 2026

　¥30,000 per bus per night

Conditions:

Groups of 11 or more inbound travelers using a chartered bus

Stay at least one night within Fukui Prefecture

Visit at least two sightseeing spots or tourist facilities within Fukui

Cannot be combined with other subsidies from Fukui Prefecture or the Fukui Tourism Federation

Fukui Prefecture provides subsidies to support domestic and international travel agencies in developing new travel products by inviting company representatives for on-site inspections and surveys.

Eligible Expenses:

Airfare, transportation within Fukui, accommodation, tour guide fees, admission fees, etc.

Eligible Period:

April 1, 2025 – February 13, 2026

Subsidy Amount:

50% of inspection-related expenses

Up to ¥100,000 per person

Up to 6 invitees per inspection trip

Up to ¥600,000 per company per year

Conditions:

At least one overnight stay in Fukui Prefecture

Visit at least three sightseeing spots or tourist facilities in Fukui

Conduct proposal and opinion exchanges aimed at enhancing the appeal of visited sites

If inviting multiple persons from the same overseas travel company, the maximum is 2 persons per company (including related parties)

Cannot be combined with other subsidy programs

Eligible Period:

Departures: June 4, 2025 – February 28, 2026

Returns: Until March 7, 2026

Eligible Regions:

South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong

Subsidy Amount:

¥5,000 per traveler

Conditions:

Use of an eligible airport in the above regions

Use Komatsu Airport for either arrival or departure

Stay at least one night in Fukui Prefecture

Visit at least one sightseeing spot or tourist facility in Fukui

Must meet one of the following:

　① Group tour of 10 or more inbound travelers

　② Individual travel tours (must total at least 10 travelers per month)

Cannot be combined with other subsidy programs from Fukui Prefecture or the Fukui Tourism Federation

Use of Komatsu Airport, Toyama Airport, or Chubu Centrair International Airport

Stay at least one night in Fukui Prefecture

Ono City provides subsidies to travel agencies that organize package tours using charter buses.

Subsidy Amount:

Up to ¥30,000 per bus

Up to ¥45,000 per bus when combined with use of the Etsumi-Hoku Line (Kuzuryu Line)

Annual maximum: ¥200,000 per agency

Additional subsidy: ¥10,000 per bus (or ¥15,000 per bus with Etsumi-Hoku Line use) for each of the following conditions met:

　① Group meal in Ono City (¥1,000 or more per person)

　② Overnight stay in Ono City

　③ Hands-on experience in Ono City (¥1,000 or more per person)

③ Accommodation in Takahama Town (room only or with breakfast): ¥500 per person

④ Accommodation in Takahama Town (with dinner or two meals per night spent there): ¥1,000 per person

※ The total subsidy will be granted based on the conditions achieved.

Stays with “room only + dinner at a facility in town” will also be regarded as condition ④.

Conditions:

Group tours of 10 or more inbound foreign visitors using a chartered bus

Must use at least two or more of the following within Takahama Town: experience, meal, or accommodation at eligible facilities

Eligible facilities are listed on the “Wakasa Takahama TabiNavi”

Cannot be combined with subsidies from Fukui Prefecture or other municipalities
