In recent years, outbreaks of African Swine Fever (ASF) have been confirmed in several Asian countries.
This disease affects pigs and wild boars and does not infect humans, but it could have a serious impact on Japan’s pig farming industry.

・Please do not discard meat products or food containers outdoors.
・Please do not use shoes or equipment contaminated with foreign soil in outdoor areas of Japan.
・Please do not approach livestock facilities or wild boar traps and fences.
・Please follow staff instructions at disinfection points.
・When entering or leaving forests or mountains, clean and disinfect your footwear thoroughly.
Your actions help protect Fukui’s nature and agriculture.
