Beach seine fishing and seafood barbecue experience with freshly caught fish
Experience dragnet fishing at Matsubara Beach in Kibi, Tsuruga City. The fish you catch will be prepared as fried fish or sashimi, and you can enjoy a seafood and meat barbecue experience. This is available from late March to mid-November at Higashiura Beach, a 20-minute drive from Matsubara. During the beach opening season, you can also enjoy swimming at the beach teahouse on Matsubara Beach. Available for group charters, families, and groups.

- Beach seine net fishing starts at 11:00 AM. Barbecue starts at 12:00 PM and lasts for either 1 hour 30 minutes or 2 hours.

- Admission Fee: For net fishing experience only, ages 3 and up = ¥1,000 (tax included) Experience Fee: Junior high school students and above = ¥4,800, Elementary school students = ¥4,500, Children ages 3 and up = ¥2,300 (minimum 30 participants required)

- 15 minutes by car from the Hokuriku Expressway Tsuruga Interchange, 20 minutes by local bus from JR Tsuruga Station, 10 minutes by taxi.
