Echizen lacquerware is a traditional craft of which Sabae City in Fukui Prefecture is proud.
This plan allows you to experience the artisans' skills up close through workshop tours and demonstrations,
and experience lacquer painting yourself while receiving instruction.
All necessary tools and gloves are provided,
so you can participate empty-handed.
Why not try it as a memorable part of your trip?
The item you paint will be finished and dried by the artisan,
and you can pick it up at the shop or have it mailed to you (shipping fee applies).
