Otaiko Hibike Taiko Drumming Festival
Otaiko Hibike is one of Japan’s largest festivals dedicated to taiko drumming. Every August, the outdoor recreation facility Otaiko Hills hosts exciting drumming performances, for an hours-long outdoor music festival. Some are by various local groups, while others are by professional taiko drumming groups from around the country.
The stage features a spectacular taiko drum performance, transforming Echizen-cho Oda, the town of taiko drums, into a sea of taiko.
