Ga-Ono Kuzuryu Fossil Lab
The museum displays fossils attracting global attention, including the world's oldest Tyrannosauridae teeth discovered in the Izumi area and neighboring municipalities, Japan's oldest bird footprints, and the world's only known lizard fossil. It also features ammonite and crinoid fossils indicating the area was once underwater, along with plant specimens and representative minerals from across Japan.
