Nambae Beach (Closed for the 2023 summer season)

The beach will remain closed for the 2023 season.
This beach is popular with surfers and is the only beach in Takahama Town where vehicles can drive right up to the sand, offering an outdoor beach experience. (Surfing is prohibited during the swimming season.)

- 40-minute walk from JR Aogō Station / 20-minute drive from the Ōi-Takahama Interchange on the Maizuru-Wakasa Expressway.

- ・AEDs are available at the toll booth during summer only. ・Vehicles may enter the sandy beach only during operating hours. ・Camping on the sandy beach and barbecuing outside designated areas are prohibited. ・Please remove tents and tarps before sunset.
