Suishohama Swimming Beach
Suishohama Beach (literally, “Crystal Beach”) is a lively destination in summer, to swim or to enjoy the beach. In addition to swimming in the crystal-clear water and relaxing on the sparkling sand, this is a popular place for water sports such as wind surfing. The beach has beautiful natural scenery all around, both during the day and in the evening. Sunsets here are famously beautiful, and there are few buildings nearby, offering a chance to enjoy the starry night sky.
Conveniences are available for visitors, including shops and showers on the beach. Suishohama Beach is accessible by bus, and a large paid parking area is available.
The opening period for 2025 is from July 1 (Tuesday) to August 31 (Sunday).
Swimming hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Swimming is prohibited at all other times.
Camping and barbecues are prohibited on all beaches in Mihama Town.
