DISCOVER FUKUI

Established in 1996, this is the second roadside station to open in Fukui Prefecture. Located along National Route 417 en route from the Hokuriku Expressway to the Echizen Coast, it sells a wide variety of local specialties and fresh vegetables.

It reopened after renovations on April 15, 2022, featuring a brighter interior and new food menu items utilizing local specialties.
Popular menu items from before, such as the 'Echizen Salt Azuki Soft Serve' using Echizen salt and the refreshing 'Echizen Salt Ramen' with lemon, will continue to be sold.

・Menus featuring Echizen Town's specialty "Ota Tofu" (Thick Fried Tofu Set, Deep-Fried Tofu Set, Thin Fried Tofu with Mountain Sea Urchin Soba/Udon) served in Echizen-yaki pottery.
・Takeout menu items like Sea Bream Burger and Wakasa Beef Croquette Koppe Sandwich (the Sea Bream Burger features an original sauce made with Fukui Prefecture rakkyo and Sabae City mountain sea urchin).
