Nishiura Beach
Nishiura Coast, located on the western side of Tsuruga Bay, is an area offering beautiful scenery perfect for a drive. The renowned poet Matsuo Basho himself stayed at Nishiura's Iroga Beach as the conclusion to his "Oku no Hosomichi" journey, leaving behind numerous poems. Furthermore, the entire coastal area serves as a bathing beach, bustling with tourists from within and outside the prefecture who come seeking its beautiful sea during the summer.
