Ono City Folk Museum

This museum displays folk materials that are gradually disappearing due to changing times. The building was constructed in 1889 as the Ōno Magistrate's Court and remained in use until 1967. That same year, Ōno City acquired the main building and guardhouse, relocated them to their current site, and repurposed them as a museum for preservation and use. As a mid-Meiji period local court building, it is nationally significant and has been designated a municipal cultural property.
