A famous park with about 50,000 azaleas that are at their best in early May
With approximately 50,000 azaleas in full bloom, it is the most famous azalea viewing spot on the Sea of Japan coast. Every year in early May, the azalea festival is held, attracting many visitors. The park also has a lawn, an athletics field, a Japanese garden, and many other spots for children and adults to enjoy. From the observatory, visitors can enjoy a view of the Hakusan mountain range in the distance, as well as the Sabae City area.
