Kyoryu Keikoku Katsuyama Michi no Eki Roadside Station
About 5 minutes from the Katsuyama IC of the Chubu Jukan Expressway!
Located on the way to the Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum, this michi no eki roadside station is available for rest and dining.
The shop offers about 4,000 kinds of fresh foods from Katsuyama, original products that can only be purchased here, and souvenirs of Fukui.
Please stop by when you visit Katsuyama!
■Cafe Restaurant
The "mizu-yokan soft-serve ice cream" with a refreshing sweetness created by an original blend of brown sugar and koshian (bean paste), and the "Wakasa beef menchikatsu burger" with a menchikatsu (fried cake of minced meat) made from Wakasa Beef wagyu, boast a rich texture and aroma, and are full of juicy meat!
■Shops
The shop offers a wide variety of souvenirs and agricultural products from Katsuyama City and beyond, as well as original goods from the roadside station and dinosaur goods.
Among them, "Katsuyama Haneju," sold exclusively at the roadside station, is a must-try product with its mouthwatering brown sugar flavor and walnut accent that is sure to become addictive.
The original curry "Fire Breath Curry" using the local seasoning "Jorro King" is available in three flavors: one, seven, and nine, and those with a strong spicy taste are encouraged to try it.
We also carry many other famous confectionery specialties such as "Habutae Walnuts" and "Kachiyama Oyaki".
