Fukui Prefectural Mikata Youth Center
Located in the central part of Wakasa Bay Quasi-National Park, this youth education facility sits on the shores of Lake Mikata, one of the renowned Mikata Five Lakes registered as a Ramsar Site. It offers various experiences such as nature observation, camping, and creative activities. Rebuilt in 2002, this very clean facility offers hands-on experiences like making ice cream and pizza, outdoor cooking, and playing ground golf by the lake.
