On July 1, 2016, the former Takeda Elementary School in Takeda District, Sakai City, was renovated and reborn as an experiential lodging facility. The Takeda Agricultural and Mountain Village Exchange Center, affectionately known as "Chikuchikubonbon," offers a variety of experiential programs that make the most of the abundant nature unique to the Takeda countryside.
