Echizen Kabuto (Dainichi Mountain)

The strength of a warrior's helmet

The mountain was named for its resemblance to the helmets worn by ancient warlords.
It is a Troide-type volcano, with a dome-shaped summit.
It is also called "Dainichi Mountain" because it enshrines the principal image of Shingon Esoteric Buddhism, Dainichi Nyorai.
