One of Japan's Top 100 Cherry Blossom Spots
Maruoka Castle, selected as one of Japan's Top 100 Cherry Blossom Spots, offers a magnificent view of its castle tower floating among the cherry blossoms.
During the festival period, 160 original lanterns illuminate the grounds around Maruoka Castle, complementing the approximately 300 traditional paper lanterns. (Castle illumination and paper lantern lighting continue until 10:00 PM)
