Awara Kitagata Lakeside Iris Festival
300 varieties of irises, totaling 200,000 plants, adorn the shores of Lake Kitagata

This year's event runs from Saturday, June 7th to Sunday, June 15th!
Located within the Echizen-Kaga Coast National Park, the Iris Garden by Lake Kitagata features approximately 300 varieties and 200,000 irises in full bloom.
Enjoy the green trees and the various gradations of the blooming flowers.
Throughout the festival, we'll also hold a local specialty market selling iris plants, local fruits, and agricultural products!!
