Wakashū Ichideki Bunko

The literary museum established in his hometown by Tsutomu Mizukami, a writer from Ōi Town

The literary museum established by author Tsutomu Mizukami, a native of Hongo Village, Oi District (present-day Oi Town), in his hometown. It features a main two-story wooden building housing a library containing Mizukami's personal collection of 20,000 books and an exhibition room for calligraphy and paintings, as well as a wheeled chair theater where bamboo puppet bunraku performances are staged. The building's appearance, blending into the valley, also reflects the author's vision.
