Echizen Pottery Village
A Hands-On Introduction to Echizen Pottery
Echizen Pottery Village is a collection of facilities where visitors can learn about, and experience, Echizen Pottery. Visit the Fukui Prefectural Museum of Ceramics, explore a park full of modern sculptures, or shape your own Echizen Pottery out of clay.
The Echizen Pottery Park is a large ceramic park with cherry trees planted throughout the park, and many events are held there, including the "Echizen Pottery Village Weeping Cherry Blossom Festival" in mid-April and the "Echizen Pottery Festival" in late May.
