Takenami Beach【Opening in 2024】
This beach exudes a relaxed, homey atmosphere. Renowned for its scenic beauty—from the charming streets of Takenami to sunsets painting the coastline—it attracts many visitors who stay at local inns.
The 2024 operating period is from Friday, July 5th to Sunday, September 1st.
Swimming hours are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Please do not approach dolphins, even if they are present.
Please note that the beach may close due to typhoons or other severe weather conditions.

- From JR Tsuruga Station, take the bus bound for Shiraki and get off at "Takenami." Approximately 25 minutes by car from Wakasa Mihama IC on the Maizuru-Wakasa Expressway.
