Kairaigashimizu

Sacred water surrounded by mystical greenery
Kairaigashimizu is cherished as sacred water that never dries up, even during droughts. Legend holds that 1,400 years ago, a princess of Baekje who crossed over to Echizen from the Korean Peninsula prayed to the gods and Buddhas. Rain began to fall, and with the sound of thunder, clear water gushed forth from between the rocks.
