Asakura Pear and Chestnut Orchard
Why not try chestnut picking in our vast grounds overlooking the Sea of Japan?
These are our prized chestnuts, carefully nurtured with love in our orchard for a full year. Nourished by the sea breeze, they grow into chestnuts that are fluffy and exceptionally sweet.
They are perfect for a variety of dishes, whether simply boiled, roasted, or carefully simmered in a sweet syrup.
We have chestnut recipes available.
The farm owner—a local celebrity—will explain the best way to pick chestnuts.
