This is a heart-centering prayer bead crafting experience held after zazen meditation at the Head Temple Eiheiji. It is offered as a collaborative program with the Head Temple Eiheiji's day-trip zazen sessions. Zazen is the foundation of practice. By sitting with proper posture and breath, free from distracting thoughts, your mind naturally settles. With your body and mind purified, the prayer beads you handcraft will surely become your steadfast ally. <>Infuse your bonds and wishes into a "rosary," a symbol of Buddha's protection. Choose your favorite beads from several types to create your original meditation rosary. It's very simple—just thread the beads onto the cord and tie it.
