Echizen Ono Hina Festival

A Splash of Color for Spring

The Echizen Ono Hina Festival, which welcomes many visitors every year, will be held at two locations this year: "Heisei Onoya Heizo" and "Roadside Station Echizen Ono Arashima no Sato"!

Heisei Onoya Heizo (MAP)

The venue, Heisei Onoya Heizo, was built in the mid-Showa period (mid-1950s to the 1970s) and is designated as a National Tangible Cultural Property as an excellent example of robust construction techniques following the Fukui Earthquake.

The 20 tiers of hina dolls are truly spectacular!

Venue: 1-2 Motomachi, Ono City

Roadside Station Echizen Ono Arashima no Sato (Culture Heritage Room) (MAP)

A wide variety of hina dolls are gathered here, from historic Edo-period (between 1601 or 1603 and 1868) dolls to modern character-themed versions!
