Echizen Ono Hina Doll Festival – A Celebration of Spring
The Echizen-Ono Hinamatsuri, which attracts many visitors every year, will be held this year at two locations: "Heisei-Onoya Heizo" and "Roadside Station Echizen-Ono Arashima-no Sato"!
Heisei-Onoya Heizo
The Heisei-Onoya Heizo, the venue of the festival, was built in the mid-Showa period and has been selected as a national tangible cultural property as a good example of the robust structural technique used after the Fukui Earthquake.
The 20-tiered line of hina dolls is a sight to behold!

Roadside Station: Echizen Ono Arashima no Sato (Cultural Traditions Room)
A wide variety of hina dolls, from historical dolls from the Edo period to modern versions of character hina dolls, are on display!
At the venue, Arashima no Sato in Echizen Ono, you can enjoy a variety of local products from Ono City and Fukui Prefecture, as well as delicious gourmet food.
