Oshozu Spring
The famed spring water gushes forth ceaselessly
Ono City is rich in groundwater, with springs bubbling up throughout the town. Among these, the Oshozu Spring, selected as one of Japan's Top 100 Springs, has long been cherished as a place of relaxation for citizens. Historically used as water for the feudal lord, it is also known as "Lord's Clear Water." The spring water maintains a constant temperature, feeling cool in summer and warm in winter. Be sure to try "me+asu," a water bottle for sale where you can enjoy delicious, famous spring water drawn at nearby locations like Yuirakuza.
In summer, it's illuminated with colorful Japanese paper lanterns, creating a magical atmosphere.
