Goshimizu
The famed spring water gushes forth ceaselessly
Ono City is rich in groundwater, with springs bubbling up throughout the town. Among these, "Oshōzu," selected as one of Japan's Top 100 Famous Waters, has long been known as "Lord's Clear Water" because it was historically used as the feudal lord's water source. The water temperature remains constant, feeling cool in summer and warm in winter, making Oshōzu a beloved place of relaxation for citizens. Be sure to try "me+asu," a bottled product where you can enjoy delicious famous water drawn from nearby sources like Yurakuza.
In summer, it is illuminated with colorful Japanese paper lanterns, creating a magical atmosphere.
