Takeda no Sato Weeping Cherry Festival
Takeda no Sato Weeping Cherry Blossom Festival" will be held from April 5 (Sat.) to April 18 (Fri.), 2025.
More than 150 weeping cherry trees in the park will bloom simultaneously, and visitors can enjoy the fantastic and beautiful scenery as the branches and flowers rustle in the spring breeze.
At the festival's venue, Takekurabe Square, there will be lights and a craft market to enjoy the cherry blossoms at night.
A photo contest for pictures taken in the Takeda area will also be held.
On Saturday, April 5, from 6:00 p.m., a lighting ceremony will be held at the Takekurabe Plaza.
Weeping cherry trees in Takeda, Maruokamachi, Sakai City are one of the most popular cherry blossom viewing spots in Fukui Prefecture.
Around 100 weeping cherry trees will be in full bloom around Takekurabe Square, and from sunset, visitors can enjoy the fantastic atmosphere created by the lighting up of the trees.
