Matsuki Shrine
This shrine enshrines the spirit of Matsuki Shōzaemon, who, at the beginning of the Edo period, became the representative of farmers in Wakasa suffering under harsh tax collection. He personally petitioned the feudal lord for tax reduction, sacrificing his life to achieve his heartfelt wish.

- From JR Kaminaka Station, take the JR bus bound for Omi-Imazu and get off at "Wakasa-Kumagawa" stop. It's about a 3-minute walk from there. From Wakasa-Kaminaka IC on the Maizuru-Wakasa Expressway, it's about a 15-minute drive.
