Angel Land Fukui
Let’s explore science through play!
This interactive facility is headed by astronaut Mamoru Mori as its honorary director. In the exhibition area, visitors can have fun learning about the principles of space and science through seven themes, including numbers, shapes, and force. The giant “Geo Angel” monitor, measuring 7 meters high and 4 meters wide, continuously displays images of nature from around the world and views of Earth from space.
The facility also features a Space Theater with one of the largest dome screens in the Hokuriku region, showing planetarium programs, as well as large play structures like “Playsaurus” and “Children’s Cloud” where visitors can run and play to their heart’s content both indoors and outdoors. Come experience science through play!
