Miyanoshita Cosmos Park
A Wide-Open Field with 100 Million Cosmos Flowers
The Miyanoshita Cosmos Park, in the outskirts of Fukui City, is a 17.5-hectare field filled with some 100 million cosmos flowers. They bloom from the end of September through the end of October, filling the park with white, red, orange, and pink flowers. The flowers here are planted in large patches of a single color, as well as in neat rows with multiple colors next to one another.
The Cosmos Festival is held here in October, with attractions such as a cosmos maze, flower-pressing lessons, and vendors selling fresh fruit and vegetables.
