The Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum, which sparks the imagination of visitors of all ages, is also nearby. Furthermore, the nearby mountains are home to Ski Jam Katsuyama, one of the largest ski resorts in Western Japan. During the winter season, the area transforms, filled with the unique bustle characteristic of snow country.
