Tentokuji Temple
This temple of the Koyasan Shingon sect is said to have been founded by the great master Taichō. In the early Heian period (794-1185), it became an imperial temple commissioned by Emperor Murakami, and its name is said to derive from the era name Tentoku used at that time.
