Skijam Katsuyama (Winter Season)
Skijam Katsuyama is one of the largest ski resorts in western Japan, with slopes offering runs up to 5,800 meters long. The resort features a total of 16 different courses, suited to everyone from beginners to experts. With a base elevation of 610 meters and a summit at 1,320 meters, it receives high praise for both its snow accumulation and snow quality. The Bekids Park supports beginners and children who cannot yet ride lifts, and a dedicated sledding lane is also available. Rental equipment is available for both skiers and snowboarders, and lessons are available in English, to teach the basics. Both the ski and snowboard schools are well-regarded for their high-quality lessons.
