JAM Fukui Katsuyama Mountain Resort
JAM Fukui Katsuyama Mountain Resort is one of the largest ski resorts in Western Japan, located on Mt. Hōonji in Katsuyama City. Opened in 1993, it features a diverse selection of 16 trails for beginners, intermediates, and advanced skiers, as well as a well-equipped rest house and hot springs. With a total trail length of 5,800 meters, visitors can enjoy long, leisurely runs.With a base elevation of 610 meters and a summit elevation of 1,320 meters, the resort is highly regarded for its snowfall and snow quality. The Kids Park supports beginners and children who cannot yet ride the lifts, and visitors can also enjoy a dedicated sledding lane. Both the ski and snowboard schools are well-regarded for their high-quality lessons.
