Mikuni Sunset Beach
A shallow-water beach stretching across the northwestern part of Mikuni Port
This beach, located in the northwestern part of Mikuni Port, is popular with families with children because the water is shallow. During the season, it also becomes a marine resort destination for those who enjoy yachting, surfing, and windsurfing. It is also famous as a spot to watch the sunset over the Sea of Japan.
Every year on August 11, it serves as the main venue for the Mikuni Fireworks Festival, the largest of its kind in the Hokuriku region.
