Ashiyama Park
From the mountaintop observatory, you can see the Hokuriku Shinkansen.
This mountain lies east of Echizen City across the Hino River. Its proximity to the city center and the view of the clear Hino River below led to its development as Ashiyama Park, providing a year-round place of relaxation for citizens. In spring, 2,000 Somei-Yoshino cherry trees bloom magnificently.

- From Happiraine Takefu Station, take the Fukutetsu Bus to "Kokutaka" stop, then walk 10 minutes. From Hokuriku Expressway Takefu IC, it's a 10-minute drive.
