The Awara Onsen Food Stall Village, "Yukemuri Yokocho," is located in front of the roundabout at the Echizen Railway's "Awara-Yunomachi Station."

The Echizen Railway station building is a charming brick structure that feels like a little slice of another world, evoking an indescribably nostalgic atmosphere.

From seafood and deep-fried skewers to teppanyaki, grilled offal, and ramen, each shop welcomes customers with its signature dishes.

While each shop has only about nine seats—not a large number— precisely because of this, they are filled with a cozy, homey atmosphere where you can chat with the owner—something you won’t find anywhere else.
