Eigenji
The temple dedicated to the soul of Sanuki of Nijō-in, daughter of Minamoto no Yoritomo
This temple is the family temple of Nijōin Sanuki. Within its grounds stands a monument inscribed with the poem selected for the Hyakunin Isshu anthology: "My sleeves, like the tide's ebb, Are never seen. The offshore rock— Though others may know it, It never dries." Nearby lies the site of his residence. The "offshore rock" is said to be a stone located 7 km off the coast of Taga.
