Floating Lanterns and Fireworks Show
*Please note that the details below refer to the 2025 edition of the event. The event is held every year in August; details on the next edition to come soon.
"The Shining City of Tsuruga"
A night unfolding against the backdrop of the scenic Kehi no Matsubara pine grove and swimming beach. Vibrant lanterns float across the sea surface to the rhythm of sutra chanting, creating an ethereal space. This year, themed "Shining City Tsuruga," approximately 10,000 fireworks will light up the sky. Programs commemorating the 1st anniversary of the Hokuriku Shinkansen opening and the Osaka-Kansai Expo will project messages of peace and Tsuruga's symbols across the night sky, painting Tsuruga's bright future with fireworks.
