ESHIKOTO
Located in the middle reaches of the Kuzuryu River, the largest river in Fukui Prefecture, Eiheiji Town is blessed with clear water and was once home to 17 sake breweries. One of the breweries that has continued this history is the Kokuryu Sake Brewery.
ESHIKOTO is a facility opened by this long-established brewery in June 2022 to promote Hokuriku's food and culture, including sake. The facility houses Ishidaya ESHIKOTO, a shop run by the Kokuryu Sake Brewery, and the restaurant acoya. The Kuzuryu River, from which Kokuryu is derived, and the mountains and fields of Eiheiji spread out before your eyes, so you can enjoy sake and food while relaxing and admiring the view.
