Tadaji Temple
The main hall of Tada-ji enshrines the principal image of Yakushi Nyorai, renowned for its miraculous healing power against eye ailments. Flanking it are the Eleven-Faced Kannon, also called the Mona Lisa of Wakasa, and the Heian-period Sacred Kannon (both designated Important Cultural Properties).
Additionally, the hall enshrines the Four Heavenly Kings from the Heian period and three Amida Buddha statues, arranged in a mandala-like formation.
In spring, azaleas, peonies, and rhododendrons bloom profusely, while autumn colors the temple grounds with vibrant foliage.
