A hot spring inn situated in the heart of the Shizuhara Highlands. For generations, it has welcomed hikers and travelers passing through on their way to Gifu Prefecture, offering a place to relax and rejuvenate.
The hot spring is a sodium bicarbonate spring, also known as the “Beauty Spring,” with water that is smooth, soft, and silky. (Please note that the open-air bath is not a hot spring.)
While the bathing facilities are not large-scale, guests can enjoy the ever-changing scenery unique to the rural mountains—cherry blossoms in spring, lush greenery in summer, autumn foliage, and snowy landscapes in winter—and day-trip bathing is also available.
