A mountain on the border with Ishikawa Prefecture.
Its gentle, rounded silhouette resembles a rabbit, hence the name.
Near the distinctive red-roofed emergency shelter, rare alpine plants such as the Japanese daylily can be seen.

- From Nagayama Intersection in Katsuyama City, drive approximately 10 km (12 minutes by car) along National Route 157 toward Shiramine. Immediately after crossing the red bridge over the Takinami River, you will find the entrance to Obara on the right. The parking lot is a 30-minute drive from Obara.
