Fukui Tourist Information Center
New Information Center Directly Connected to JR Fukui Station Opens, Gathering Information from Across Fukui Prefecture
This tourist information center opened in March 2024 to coincide with the launch of the Hokuriku Shinkansen service to Fukui and Tsuruga.
Three to four concierges, including English-speaking staff, are always available to assist with tourist inquiries. Additionally, a video translation system supports 12 languages besides English, as well as sign language.
The pamphlet area offers extensive information on all cities and towns within the prefecture, and also sells tourist tickets, travel packages, souvenirs, and more. Furthermore, the Active Space hosts hands-on workshops for crafts and traditional arts.
