Koyomi Kaikan
The Kōra-zukuri-style Calendar Museum is a unique museum filled with materials related to calendars, including rare ancient astronomical instruments and calendars from bygone eras. It was built in commemoration of the descendants of Abe no Seimei, the founder of Japanese astronomical calendar studies, who fled the ravages of the Ōnin War and settled in this area.
