Kogyoji Temple,Museum Hana-no-Kura
Kōgyō-ji Temple was founded in 1406 by Shūgaku Shōnin, the third son of Shōnyo Shōnin, the fifth head priest of Hongan-ji. Its "weeping cherry blossoms in spring" and "ginkgo trees in autumn" are renowned, and the museum "Hana no Kura" is also located within its grounds. Rennyo Shonin, who fled persecution at Mount Hiei and established a temple in Yoshizaki, Echizen, built an unprecedented large religious organization in just four years. The museum displays materials from this historically largest Yoshizaki missionary work, along with Rennyo Shonin's footsteps, the life of Shinran Shonin, and the world of religion, all expressed using computer graphics.
