Soft-serve ice cream made with fresh milk is a hit
In addition to enjoying ice cream made with fresh milk from the Oku Echizen Dairy Farm, you can dine at the restaurant, have a barbecue, and enjoy seasonal events such as the Alpine Music Festival and Lantern Night.
Reservations are required for hands-on activities such as ice cream making and butter churning.
You can also enjoy “Digital Dinosaur Fossil Excavation,” a fun simulation where you use a special brush to scrape away layers of rock projected onto a giant screen to uncover dinosaur fossils.
The area is also well-equipped with nearby facilities, including Sun Sports Land with its grassy field, the Toron Onsen Urara-kan, the Sora to Daichi campground, the Fukui Prefectural Nature Conservation Center, and the Oku Echizen Dairy Farm.
