Tenchi Inn
Located at the base of Mt. Kanmuri, accessible by climbing National Route 417 from the Shizuhara area. This facility features a rainbow trout fishing pond where fishing rods and bait are provided, so you can come empty-handed. There's also a special fishing area for children where fish are easier to catch, making it enjoyable for families.
You can have your catch grilled or enjoy it on the barbecue.
Additionally, you can enjoy course meals featuring river fish by reservation. (Meal-only visits are also welcome.)
Deep in the mountains away from civilization, cell phone reception is unavailable, yet many regulars visit annually to enjoy fishing and the cuisine.

One rod with bait costs 2,000 yen.
You can also have your freshly caught fish grilled on the spot to eat (additional ¥200 per fish).
