Fukui Prefecture’s largest crab festival, held in “Echizen Town—the Holy Land of Echizen Crab,” which accounts for approximately 70% of the region’s crab catch.

Fishmongers and other vendors in Echizen Town—renowned as the "Holy Land of Echizen Crab" and responsible for about 70% of the region’s catch—will fill the venue with Echizen crab and Seiko crab. The festival will also feature popular seafood delicacies such as Seiko crab soup, grilled seafood, and steamed Seiko crab in its shell.

Come enjoy this season’s Echizen crab in Echizen Town, the home of Echizen crab.
