The largest crab festival in Fukui Prefecture, held in Echizen Town—the holy land of Echizen Gani snow crabs, boasting about 70% of the total catch.

Echizen Town's fishmongers, renowned as Japan's finest Echizen Gani crab specialists, display an abundance of Echizen Gani crab and female snow crab (Seiko Gani) throughout the venue. Popular seafood delicacies like female snow crab soup, grilled seafood, and steamed female snow crab shells are also sold.
